Discover new culture in Africa
Back in 2001 when I traveled to Africa for the first time. It was in Kenya on holiday with my family. We wanted to explore new horizons. As far as I remember, the safari for me was one my best experience. Seeing all the beautiful landscapes and animals like rhinoceros, hippopotamus, elephants, roaming free in the wild.
After travelling through the savanna and bush sightseeing for animals, my next step of my trip led to me to discover the culture of local villagers in the Masai Mara. Personally I was astonished by the life conditions of the local villagers without scarce resources (water, food, clothes), and it showed me the reality of Africa.
During my trip, I stopped in a traditional Masai village where I could see the traditions, culture and rituals. For example, the young man becoming warrior with new outfits and his faces painting. In addition, i remembered the women making the traditional dresses.
Then I glanced for a moment seeing the kids. When I saw in the eyes that there were touched to see foreigners. So I decided to give a bag full of old toys to them.
